This session is CANCELLED - please check back for upcoming dates for January - April!

"Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness." -Desmond Tutu

Experience hope and healing through guided healing arts sessions at Plains Art Museum. On November 16, join us to create an original acrylic painting on canvas. Participants will explore color mixing and painting techniques in this workshop open to all skill levels.

Open to individuals and families who have been impacted by substance abuse, Art of Hope and Healing workshops provide a safe and uplifting space to share and heal through gentle art activities led by trained therapeutic arts facilitator Nikki Anderson. Participants are invited to view art in the Museum's galleries and create original art in a creative and non-threatening studio environment.

Art of Hope and Healing: Peaceful Painting will be offered on November 16, 2017 and January 23, 2018. We ask that you register for one of these two sessions, to enable others to experience this healing arts workshop.

Free and open to the public thanks to support from The Bush Foundation.
