We welcome you for the first summer Art + Autism Workshop at the Plains Art Museum! We will explore the layers an artists use to build color. Our day will consist of a welcome activity, an an exploration of public art, and creating our own work to take home!
Starting at 5:00 PM we will have an optional picnic outside in our patio area near the sculpture pad. Bring your own sack meal or enjoy the goldfish and juice provided. We will begin the activities at 5:30 PM.
These sessions are developed and instructed by Plains Art Museum Education Staff and Special Education professionals and are designed for families with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Event is free but registration is requested.
