Looking for something to do over the winter break? With this first in a series of Create at Home Kits you will screen print you own design, create a penguin in collage, weave a blanket for a llama, draw the beautiful northern lights in soft pastel and form a tiny cup of hot chocolate out of clay to wear as a necklace or use as a key chain. Each kit will have enough materials for one person to complete all 5 projects along with both written and video instructions. You will also receive information about artwork from our Permanent Collection that relates to each of the projects. This Create at Home kit is best enjoyed by artists ages 6 – 16. Younger children could complete projects with the help of an adult.
After you register, your kit will be available to pick up at the Visitor Services desk in the museum on December 21, 22, 23; 9am – 4:30pm and December 28, 29, 30; 9am – 4:30pm.
*You will need to supply scissors and a water cup.
Cost for this Create at Home kit is kept low through generous support from ArtBridges.
